Heartstrung – a conversation between 2 zithers and a cello. Featuring resident artist and director of SAtheCollective Natalie Alexandra, who has been exploring different sonic possibilities using extended techqniues and electronics on the guzheng; Jon He (an ex-student of Brian at Lasalle) who has innovatively designed a glove to manipulate effects on his guqin; and Vick, (also an ex-student of Brian) who explores sounds and electronics on his cello.
