Hosted by Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts in Wellington, this collaboration embodies the ethos of Te Whare Hēra: a commitment to intercultural dialogue, innovation and artistic excellence.
Residency-Presentation (24 May 2025), New Zealand
SAtheCollective performed with Arts Laureate Horomona Horo, renowned Māori visual artist, Regan Blazer, Wellington experimental music icon Jonny Marks, and boundary-pushing sound artist, Jon He, whose work combines ancient Chinese sound practice and creative technology. The performance engages in a cross-cultural, cross-media dialogue that transcends time, weaving ancestral echoes with contemporary resonance. This multidisciplinary performance is a celebration of cultural lineage, reimagined through contemporary expression.
