Description:
Hi-Viz Satellites is an international program probing new spaces, practices and modes of making in contemporary performance. The Hi-Viz Satellites model began in 2022 as a regional and international extension of Chamber Made’s previous Hi-Viz program.
The program’s 2024 focus is on cross-cultural and cross-artform exchange and collaboration between artists from Australia, Singapore and Taiwan and culminates in an in-situ Lab at Mount Hotham.
In 2024, last year’s cohort of Hi-Viz Satellites Lab artists will be joined by further artists for a week long period of research guided by Maddie Flynn and Alice Hui Sheng Chang. Two collaborations arising from the Lab will receive a 2025 supported Bundanon Residency commission toward the development of a new work, and collaborations proposed by regional artists will be hosted by Punctum on Djaara Country with our partners at Bendigo Venues and Events toward the development of a new work.
