Board of Director
Kok Jun is a multidisciplinary composer whose work spans concert music, theatre, film and everything in between. An award-winning artist, he has written over 300 works and frequently collaborates across disciplines, always on the lookout for new ways to make music. His works have been featured in major productions around the world, and he has had the privilege of working with orchestras, theatre companies, chamber groups, directors, conductors, artists, designers and soloists.
He studied composition at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and the Peabody Conservatory on full scholarship, and is grateful to have learnt from leading composers such as Cultural Medallion recipient Eric Watson, Ho Chee Kong, Oscar Bettison and Pulitzer Prize winner Kevin Puts.
When he is not writing music (or chasing after his children), Kok Jun is honing his legal chops at Dentons Rodyk & Davidson, specialising in corporate law.
